This masterpiece is courtesy my 14 year old nephew, Adheesh Vibhuti, who I badgered and hounded till he finally caved in and wrote this poem for the website. Given the coercion, I’m very impressed with how its turned out (or maybe I’m just biased towards my super talented munchkin 😀 Cheers for Nat Khat!)
Belgium is a place for waffles and chocolate
And lots of tasty food on my plate
The villages and countryside I visit
While I walk on stone and grit
The vast country I explore
When I push open every pretty door
I visit all the carnivals and fairs
Where jokers dance and proud horses walk with flair
After this long day, the sun sets down
And seeing this makes me frown
